Not to mention you have to activate Norton in 30 days or so to keep using it and it only allows a few installs before it tells ya your cut off - Just like Microsoft WinXP. I also have experienced that you have to remove the Norton stuff before upgrading or installing other Antivirus. Heck, as I recall, if you are just upgrading the the next version of Norton antivirus, Norton's own install routine is to automatically unistall the previous version for you.
On the flip side, you do get what ya pay for. AVG and Avast do not have an option that I could find to make a self booting cd-rom that will start your computer and test for viruses automatically. Norton cd disk has this feature. This is especially important if you have a virus that has messed up your ram memory or hard drive upon normal startup. These kind of viruses will NOT let your computer startup on it's own.
