1000 Islands Can/Am

The misses and I are thinking about our summer vacation and would like to plan it around this event. My mom and dad are still in Syracuse and the thought of killing two birds is ideal! We'll pack baby up and make the haul from West Palm.
I'm looking for Poodle----is he organizing this?
Need imput!!!!!!!! Need details!!!!!!!!!!
Also I hear that it warms up there in June? wink

You guys kill me. It was warmer here Monday than it was in Fort Myers.

It should be an easy 2 day drive. My folks just drove home from Fort Meyers. They drove from Fort Myers to Harrodsburg KY Tuesday, stopped overnight to visit my Uncle, then drove from Harrodsburg to the 1000 Islands yesterday in 14 hours.
Southern Florida to the 1000 Islands shouldn't be any longer than 24 hours driving time with a trailer.
Boldt Castle
Here's a link to a webcam of the castle. The water is even liquid. If you click on the "last 24 hours of images" the part where the screen goes fuzzy is a snow storm that rolled through yesterday.

Baby Donzi/ We are having our get together in July and the weather is warm, My wife will not go anywhere in cld weather! The name of the get together is The Sound of Thunder at Alexandria Bay. Poker Runs America has a get together in August called 1000 Islands/CanAm I also attend that one with my Wife and crew incuding Boxy.
Hope you can make our Donzi Get together.

Hey Frank and gang, we're in! There was a post in the events and gathering about a Can/Am in June, but the Sound of Thunder has caught Las's attention (you know how that goes!) So away we go. I fired off an e-mail to the Boardwalk, but will call in the morning to make res.
JR, if you are interested, we can hook up and make the drive together. We'll be 95 north to Syracuse non-stop where we will meet up with family. We plan on leaving the 4th weekend, no date set in stone.We are going to make a 2 week vaca out of it and spend some time tearing up Oneida lake with friends. If anyone else from the great south is planning on making the trek, get in touch with me and we'll make a convoy out of it. (The more the merrier!)
