Thanks for the comments, never to late for a reply. I’ve been very busy lately and haven’t been home. As I travel a lot. As for now she still sits completely covered up outside. It’s...
Ive seen a few paint processes where you can imitate the look of wood, marble and a few other different surfaces. We shall see.
Thats probably the best statement I've ever heard in my life. And for some reason never thought of it that way. I guess I would think of myself as a restorer. Never scared to take on new...
How did she run with that setup?
I have reason to believe that there was water trapped in the sides of the cover causing this. It's lived most its live with the mooring cover on it. It's the same on both sides.
I'll send you a Pm On other details.
As for the comments so far thank you all for the honesty.
I am a jack of all trades all except Upholstry. I do have to outsource for that one. However...
Yup! Just seen this this morning. Worked last night then I just did some reading. Photobucket wants $400 for 3rd party posting. That's nuts! I'll find another way and post them later today. ...
Where to start really? Well I should have known better, as Red was always my bad luck color but I guess it was just a bad call at the time. But the mid 90's Red Classic issues has gotten me pretty...
Mine looks very similar. Everything was identical except the red sides where mine is white. Mine also needs a repaint as a lot of the gel is cracking too. Damn Red donzi's.
I guess it also depends on you're location. I love the 27 Magnum. Which I have a 25 IMP Eleganza which is a essentially the same hull as the 27 Mag Minus 2ft. The Pantera 28 or the 24 would get my...
I'm on there as well. Good amount of good people on there also. I have the Joppatowne Marina just down the street with Tony From CMS racing engines who is head of the performance division whom I...
Huffer*** lol or a big heavy piece of billet aluminum that scares little kids. lol
And mine will be as of today when I cut them out! I put off some people today to try and get my own stuff worked on….:bonk:
I mean I thought I had Attention Deficit disorder but I guess we...
Just not getting back around to messing with it. Work has been using up my spare time and weekends. Since then I did sell my other boat so this 454 build is back in swing. Im actually running now...
Watching some of these guys like Bjorn I believe is his name and Jeff Harris who did the motor for Ekum I believe his name is just blows my mind the speeds those guys see. Honestly I would really...
Happy Birthday Sir!
I do have many options it seems. My brain hurts trying to over think things I guess. At work I can't do anything (which sucks up a lot of my time). My background is engine building in my teens and...
Now i'm really excited to have this small block in it. It will be a change of ride compared to what I usually run. I think i'll be surprised.
Woob: Also the Ilmors just showed it's head in the auto industry. There is a Jay Leno episode of a 68 Dodge Charger with a dual over head cam marine engine.
Yeller: Let me explain I am actively...
That would be great! Now I'm a motor head through and through. Never biased on brand but many don't like the LS because the lack of torque. As light as these donzi are and they were never designed...
Due to my cam specs it was going to be a dry setup and since my Classic was originally a small block/Bravo boat I would have to cut the holes at 4.5" anyway to match the 454. It would be close. ...
Woobs,
I couldn't have asked for a better response. Boat needs some cleaning up and this is the cheapest way out. I'll enjoy it and won't cost me as much. I have had some other faster setups...
Nearing this season i'm falling short on my 454 build from over the winter for my 22 Classic. My current engine is designed to run a dry exhaust system. New cost for lightning headers is around...
good to know. I'll be testing props hopefully towards end of summer
