Thanks guys. I will see if I can kick this over the long weekend.
I did not use my Donzi last year at all because I drove my Formula every time out. This year after looking what I spent on gas in the Formula I decided it was time to use the Donzi more again. Well...
Looks like I need the two hole ones.
Thanks
Jon
I just looked at your other thread. I think what I need are the other kinds. Bummer.
It is an 81 18 footer
I was doing a repair on my engine hatch and lost the hing. Does anyone know who makes them or were I can order a new one? Or if some one has a good used one that would work as well.
Thanks
Jon
Ok I will forward all the dimensions to my buddy and have him measure up the area and see if a tank of the above dimensions looks like it will fit.
MadPoodle thanks for the reply with that. Are we sure that there are no changes over the years on the tanks?
Jon
Mattboy we called them up and they said that they did not have the dimensions and would not build it unless we could provide the dimensions. They did not start building them tell late 70's I guess?
I have a buddy that needs a tank for a 16 (I think he said 1970). Does anyone know what all the dimensions are for the tank?
Very nice looking piece!
I had the same thing happen to me looking at a 16. My brother and I drove 16 hours down to take a look at a boat and it was junk. There was NOTHING worth looking at. Drive was broken, cracks...
I agree with that logic. Was not looking so much to save money as get the best job possible and not get screwed. Just waiting to see how much the tax man is going to get me for then I hope to be...
That looks like an increadable paint job!!!! Must have taken for ever to do that carbon fiber look.
I was actually thinking about going to the local prison just to see how it came out. I saw some of their work a few years ago and it was quite good. Probably would cost me about 500 bucks or so.......
Who is the best place to get an interior from for my 18 2+3? One of my buddies just got one from PPI. Is there any place else I should look?
Jon
You are WAY ahead of me on your drives. I got mine over a year now and still have yet to open the box!!! Work has kept me away from my project and in this economy I have to take it when I can get...
Waite tell you find out the guy glues the hull halfs together with 5200!!!!:bonk::bonk::bonk:
Dude don't be such a tool!!! Call up the local Donzi Fix it guy (PAB) on the block and tell him that it can not be fixed. Pout a little bit and act all bummed out. Then stand back and hand him...
What do you not like about your Clarion?
Jon
What kind of boat do you have? If we knew then we could put ya down if it will make you feel better :smash: :smash: :bonk: :bonk:
I looked at a few hydro's but the water is not deep enough for them. What I really wanted was a Jetfloat Dock but at almost 8 grand for one there was NO WAY.
Greg: A freind of mine has a cantaliver one that is hydrolic and when I see him drop his boats in the water with the thing it freeks me out also. I think his may have something wrong with it...
Thanks for all the input. There is no way that I can put a bigger boat were this lift is going to go. As it is I am going to have to dredge a a little bit. If the Formula ever gets back in the...
More or less. You would need exhaust manifolds. Not sure if the motor mounts are in the same place but I think that they are.
