Yes, 2 drowned in a 44' MTI blow over after Friday's poker run, then a 35' fastec up in someone's yard, LOTO is and can be a wicked place to boat, narrow lake, many cruisers and a lot of boats, waves...
Ditto, I'm running same water pick up for my intercooler works great!
I like!!
Dang sorry to see this, I really like the engine craddle, was that a tight fit in the 18?
steve
On a side note, had the 18 out this week on a small lake and was running a stock 25p M+ and turned that to 80 on the GPS the acceleration from 40-80 was unreal took honestly about 2 seconds and was...
Ted, I found the exact opposite with my 18' while running a stock Bravo I 32" it was loose as a goose and required a ton of steering input, the 29 M+ is actually 1-2 MPH slower but behaves much...
Anyone have use for a Volvo crank driven water pump? Found 1 going thru stuff in the basement.

Dunno anything about any "chip" if their the merc 6.2's they have the merc 555 ECU and only Merc or Whipple can change the program on those as far as I know, Whipple can do it for around 6-700 $'s...
What's your RPM's at 85? What's the rev limiter set at and where did it make the most TQ and HP on the dyno?
Nicely done!
:worthy::worthy:
Add a Whipple, buy a spare upper to have run the boat respectively and trade out the uppers every 30-50 hrs and put a new set of gears in the other while still using the boat, you'll add about 10-15...
19 pitch for a decent 350 is to small unless your running 1.36 gears, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say your all over the rev limiter , try a 23 or 25" prop, are you running this at altitude or...
Another garelicks here, like everyone has mentioned, solid, the factory crap went a few years ago and these are much much better hands down
Thanks Ed.
Not a 22 but it'll take ya about 575-580 to go 90 in an 18.
Oh so true roflmao, I just had a "triple digits" flashback
It can be shipped, good looking boat!
Dunno the total number of 18's produced in 06' but I have a red 06' 18

Agreed on drive breakage, also somewhat agree on the dual prop and forces, however strongly disagree on steering, if that cable breaks at speed that drive will flip flop back and forth on it's own, a...
Looks great, you should seriously think about doing steering on this! It does appear your engine sits a little higher than mine, we didn't have to notch out for the blower pulley it cleared by...
There's a stock 2008 350 mpi on OSO $6,000 drop in run and while you play with the Whipple set up, fwiw I lost a month with a leaking intercooler and about $1,200 spent. Hang in there
Thanks, Ed
