Fishboy, that red F23 Donzi is at a business on the corner of 30th Avenue North and 16th Street in St Petersburg; so, it might still be for sale. I think it's the cuddy model. I'll check it out the...
........sorry ..... it was the power steering cooler.
The orginal engines were 454 with Bravo drives from 1989. Two years ago I upgraded to 496HO with Bravo X drives and of course the nre transom...
RE: 1989 Z-33 w 496HO
I have been chasing this problem since last October and I think I have got it fixed. While taking some vistors for a cruise last October, the port engine went into the...
I'm sure there are those with better information; but, as far as I know, the sale of the Donzi Marine Racing (called in those days) was made in June of 1988. I went down to the plant in August of...

There's a guy in Dania, Florida (Ft Lauderdale) that made a nice windsheild for me. I think you should consider making this windshiel in two pieces, left & right. I did this and it works much better...

Jamie has it right. The Blackhawks had a fabulous paint job but the boats didn't handle worth a damn (Or so I have heard from those who had them).
I installed two 496HO engines with Bravo X drives in my Z-33 three years ago and I love them. Thet have FWC, of course, since I live inFlorida on the water. I would definitely go with the HO...

Just went out for a run today for a few hours.............fabulous!
There are often questions about fuel tank designs; so, here is what I did with my 1989 Z-33 Donzi. The original tank is 200 gallons and that has been changed to 140 gallons. The original was the...

The engine room is not big enough for twins.
Stand up bolsters wold be far too tall for this boat.
Took a look at the fuel tank --- no problem
Took apart the fuel strainers --- nothing but clear fuel, no water
Still trying to figure it out.
Thanks ............. yeah, that's the right thing to do....a scan tool.
...I went out again today and the thing ran like hell for 15 minutes then the Port engine died back to an idel then after a...
Thanks to all.
The engines run fine and throttles work perfect until I put it in gear. Then, the throttle moving up doesn't make the engine run faster, it only idles.
The new 496HO's are fuel...
Any advice or opinions would be appreciated:
