FOR SALE - 1969 Cobalt XV-200. This is for sale by a fellow named Wayne. In discussing the boat he asked if I'd post some info and pics since, as has been discussed here often, the little XV-200's...

Now see; this could start a whole pointless conversation and debate over whether it's best to use the bow/trailer ring or the lifting ring on the deck to tie up at the dock; or whether it's best to...
What did I miss here? That's the rope that I tie the bow to the dock with. Man, I'm thinking something here has gone right over my head!:boggled:
I'm also thinking I'm about one post away from...
That's funny! I was actually working on something like that a while back using an old sump pump I had but when I got it all ready, the sump pump died!
Here's a short video clip (link) to the boat buzzing under a bridge at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland (same place, smae day the stills were shot).

Just some cool pics of the boat from a bridge...
Thanks BG (also for the reply on the paint thread). And by the way I saw the happy birthday thread...
Happy Birthday!

Well, I'm sure this has been covered before and I feel kind of stupid for asking, but with the old Holman Moody Fords in many of these little classic Donzis with just the single raw water pump...
Has anyone used anything "other than" SPECIFICALLY "engine paint (cans) to paint an engine?
I was getting ready to do one and was all excited because I found a rather difficult to find color in...
Where's Helen Back's? City, state, etc.?
Just curious where the little blue Cobalt (mentioned above) stays.
Hey Len,
Something just told me to pop in and here was this Cobalt message. Cool!
I think I know which boat this is. Sent an e-mail to verify and requested some pics.
