I could, I just thought I'd check on what new ones cost before I go that route. I've made enough furniture to know this is a bigger job than it appears. Barrel seats are a pain to make, let alone...
I need to replace the fron seats on my 18 (the wood is soft). Any ideas where I can get some new ones that will look right?
Do you have any more pictures of the boat?
Yeah, thats the thing. It goes almost 80 now with a bravo shorty and a quad 4, and it is very well manered up to about 65. Only thing I wish I would have done when I blueprinted the bottom was...
It's not mine I just borrowed it.
I would have to agree with that, the faster I went the better it seemed to want to take a set, and all indications were that it could be very fast. With time I may have got more comfortable with it...
Well, that thouroly suked! Proposed wildly till 40 mph then just handled badly. Got it up to 70 but was not comfortable going any faster than that. Talked to the guy I got it fom, and he indicated it...
One other problem with raising the X is then the engine would be sticking out of the hatch.
The top of the torpedo is 3+" above the bottom. The skeg on this thing is monstrous that must be why so much control. The steering is going to be the wild card. If I like the drive I may keep the...

Yeah, that does scare me, I'll go easy at first see how the boat likes it. Trying to decide if I want to keep this one or buoild a 22.
Somebody told me once most blackhawk parts are bravo upper and bravo 3 lower. Don't know if thats true, but something to think about.
Well, this boat has not killed me yet, it must be time to try something new. The best i've got out ot with a bravo is 79.6, and it is a handfull. We'll see what this does.
Well, I have to believe it is worth at least $25,000 isn't it?
Well, you know what they say, "if you have to ask how much...."
Thinking about selling my 18 Donzi. Want to build a fast 22. Any opinions about what mine is worth? Complete refit, all new parts, 100% fresh and nice. Here is the link to the restoration. Let me...
Tore up a lab finished prop because the water was so low, other than that GREAT!
I need steering, and I think of the cost of a steering system as opposed to buying a used ITS and being able to sell the HD tranom assembly thats on the back of my boat now, it may be the cheaper way...
When mine was upsidown I could stand in the middle and pick it up and move it around myself. Way less than 300 would be my guess.
Thats pretty Bad Azz
I'll be at Wamplers tomorrow for the Michigan hot boats meet. Hope I'm not the only Donzi there.
