Hey Bill,
I have to apologize, I blazed past your place on the way home with the 22 a few years back. I made a weekend trip to Michigan without missing a day of work. Although I did hold all my...
Hey Glen. No worrries, it happens. You should see all the dumb shi$ I pull these days.
I started personal training this week to build up weight and strength. The trainer came with a bio-metric...
Just a quick point; DC and transformers do not work for providing power to devices. The primary coil will only transfer power to the secondary on a rate of change in current which is why they are...

Thanks Glen,
Yes, They seem to be the definate source for all things obd these days. I'll do some more research. I'd like to hear what the pros are doing. Maybe it's time I joined OSO. LOL

So I have a little time on my hands and I transferred my pictures off my phone and I found this one.
Pretty cool considering it came from a Samsung S5. This is at Horshoe Bay on Lake LBJ at...
You might want to check that shiny new shifter. Mine had issues with the indents on the shifter shaft. There was no lubrication on the shaft and had some marring.

Don't forget to align the motor. You can get the tool off Ebay and you don't need the $300 stainless one either.
Sorry to hear of your troubles. The good thing is, you know what you have now.

I have not seen one shrink before. I would be tempted to heat it up and see if it stretches.
I have a different K&N and these things are expensive for boats. Two to three times what I paid for...
Thank you Jeff. Great information.
Did you mean LS1 distributor or L31?
A MEFI4 is about $1K. I'll check on the LS1 ECU.
Taz
It's a 454 MAG MPI.
Thanks for the link. They seem like a good group.
Taz
Saweet!
Nice job Jim. Way to represent. :)
Taz
Good to see you home Ed. If you are like me you have had enough of hospitals.
I'll race you to see who splashes first. :)
Taz
It would be nice to have a bolt on package. I'll do some research and see what I can find.
Thanks Smoke. I am definitely looking for newer technology. MEFI4 seems to be the way to go for the...
Thanks Glen. I like that it is a handheld and would be easier to use while running. No need to take a laptop.
Taz
Wow, really? That early.
I would think any MEFI EFI system could be upgraded to individual ignition coils. It most likely will need an ECU upgrade but I'm seeing MEFI4's for 500-1k.
Taz
I'm looking for good software tools for MEFI.
Does anyone have experience and can recommend a good one to read and flash the ECU?
TIA,
Taz
I have a '99 MEFI 3.
Is the MEFI 4 distributor less? I'd love to get rid of the distributor.
Thoughts? Ideas?
Taz
I use ScanTool for my American cars. I can flash them as many times as I want. I think the package I have is good for 3 cars but of coarse you can always buy more. :)
Has anyone used the...
Outstanding work Glen.
Looking good.

I hear those Marine 498' are crazy fast.
I've owned both the 18c and 22c. The 18 is fun to play with on smooth water. The 22 is fun to play with no matter what the water.
It's small enough to tow without problems and big enough to handle...
Jim,
I wish I could make it. Sounds like a great time.
Perhaps we can arrange a little get together in a month or so.
Cheers,
Taz<--Getting stronger, look out world!!!
Good idea Scott.
I need the ones that are flexible and press fit and goes between the caliper and the frame.
