Thanks for the reply George. If the motor has to be shifted/removed for this fix and the transom and stringers turn out to be structurally sound I will be looking for a 370 or a 400 cyclone drop in.
On my 1985 2 plus 3 MCM 330 TRS the trim limit switch wires that pass through the transom turned to dust when I touched them. Is this a normal occurrence? I'm sure the remedy ain't gonna be no fun
Cleaning out the attic. This one's gotta go. Super nice never been framed. Open to reasonable offers. P.M. me on this site or call 708-846-0355.
Peace,
Chuck
Fixall,
330 TRS. Loking for a non plus.
...14.75 X 21 three blade if anyone would be kind enough to offer it. Want to try in place of my old cleaver.
While operating my 22 2+3 over the last few days, a couple of wierd things have been experienced. To begin with, while I was operating the boat for 20 plus minutes, I felt tingling in both of my...
I agree. It's the same b.s. with IRL racing. Maybe worse. All the drivers, cars and engines ain't from here. Sucks.
Man, that thing is rare...like sushi. Rarer than a hornet with a bench or a criterion. I think the MSRP with that powerplant was astronomical back then. That's why you never see any 22 with more...
While running the heat or a/c on my truck, air is constantly blowing through the defrost vents on the dash. I'm trying to find the dashpot that closes the air to the defroster. Where is it? Anyone?
Buizilla,
It was the black 72.
After seeing a Buick Gran Sport run a 124 m.p.h. pass in a F.A.S.T. shootout, I was blown away by the fact that it did it on a Rochester quad. I got to thinking about who may own the fastest Donzi...
Well I'll be...
Hope it was a good one!
Peace
While I agree that existing home sales are in the toilet, somebody shelled out major coin last week for a 1993 18 on evil bay. In excess of 16K!
Please be sure to dispose of old fuel properly. Take it to a household hazardous waste collection site. They'll be happy to help.
I guess I will put trailer tires on it after all. I'll post when I find some that are made in the U.S.
I'm having a bit of a dilemma finding a 14" tire x 4 made domestically to replace my dry rotted ones. I was told Carlisle no longer makes them here either. WTF? Who does? If I have a choice between...
Anyone see the movie Syriana? I caught bits and pieces of it. One part I can't get out of my head is the scene about "corruption". Man, that is some scary ****. I'm kind of ashamed if that's the way...
George,
Congrats on getting near 4 MPG w/ the Minx. A boat has to be tuned pretty sharp to run as efficient as your old stone did. Paying attention to fuel consumption while obtaining maximum output...
I have an original MCM #24 service manual for the 5.7 Chevrolet marine engines. It includes the 300 horse 350 mpi in it. I'd like to auction it with proceeds going to the site. Any takers?
I know a few of the early models had some pretty exotic powerplants under the hatch (twins, large displacement blue ovals, etc.), but doesn't one exist with a factory 426 Chrysler Hemi in it? I'm...
Chrysler may not be good indeed. Apparently, the folks back home in Germany are uber-pissed at the U.S. sales tanking. Feel sorry for all the U.A.W. folks working here in some capacity. I wonder what...
Nice ride, Carl.
The recent cold snap has been good for the old goat. Quite unstable on the pavement. A blast to drive!
Wowsers...Done!
