That's classic !
Gerk, as said above it is a 27 mag sport with merc trs transom cuts so mid to late 70's. It will have a HIN # on the top stb transom just under the railing. If you don't know what it is, its most...
Hey George, yours is somewhere in the priceless range I would say.
MC , Like the 94', that's what I had, but my friend is in VA Beach and not looking for that kind of road trip, good luck. thx
Looking for a friend on the east coast, don't see anything advertised in the usual spots... $20k range.
Hey Bill,
Wow, been a while on this thread... I too thought your sport was long gone. Aaron had a beautiful white, very original sport years ago, does this make 2 for him? I can't imagine he sold...
Hmm... never heard of Delta.
Clintb,
I sold my 22 last year. It was originally a standard bravo set up with a 502. I put a 540ci/ 650hp motor in and ran a BH drive on it.
Feel free to call me regarding any issues you may...
+1 with RT, I didn't see the add pictures before. The position of the drive and exaust tips on the transom look like a BH edition. If the fuel tank is in the floor storage locker then that would...
Looking at those pictures I would say its not a BH hull. How about a picture of the transom? A real BH edition would have an X-dim about 3" higher than standard bravo.
I had 650 hp running thru mine with no issues in 80 hrs. Since the drive is shorter your prop leaves the water more easily/frequently so it pays to have a nice responsive throttle to mitigate stress...
+1 on Bill's comment, the exhaust and drive position on the transom look like a standard Bravo setup. You should try and find my 22 Blackhawk conversion I sold last yr. to a guy in Jacksonville, I...
I don't know about alpha drives but that is the biggest water intake I have ever seen and was probably designed for a non planing hull. 4" x 6" x (2"?) is enormous, my Blackhawk drive intake on the...
I don't know why, but I find myself trying to figure out what was done to this 22..... I hope that bucket seat bracket over the engine hatch is just for holding the front seats while the cabin...
Here is where the waterline would be. In addition to all the concerns on this boat, I wouldn't want alpha drives behind big blocks.
I have nose cones on my bravo drives and the main issue I have had is with water somehow getting in /under the cone and blistering the paint and faring. Having re-installed them the only way I would...
I'm not sure you can clear over gelcote... and yes, my vinyl lettering has had no issues with 80+ speeds.
I had a red deck stripe on my 22 that was repainted before I bought the boat. Good paint definitely holds up better than gel on the deck. I have red stripes on my magnum (pictured) which is PPG and...
The seating design was a throwback to my old 16' Donzi. There is not enough beam for a U shaped rear seat so I went with the L. The panels on the rear seat back give access to rigging ,wiring etc....
Brought the Midnight back from the mechanic today. Everything is rigged, gauges wired, controls, cables etc. Nav lights, cockpit lights, stereo, carpet and upholstery remain. I'll get some pics of...
That's awesome Pete, great sounding deal and that powertrain should be pretty bullet proof.
George - that pickup is too close to the centerline to clear an outdrive, I would assume that is a v-drive boat with some sort of rudder. That location would also disturb the water in front of the...
That is not a performance style pickup, more for a cruiser. Bob's, Stainless Marine, Hardin etc. make performance pickups. Closed cooling systems are just heat exchangers so they run raw water around...
Thanks Bill and happy new year. Still figuring out what replacement compass to go with but I think I have it. With the new seat position the original obscured the speedo a bit and also does not clear...
I don't know what your hull is but a transom mounted water intake is just what it sounds like . There are different products but they scoop up water off the bottom running surface of the hull at the...
