From what I have heard Goodyear Marathons are not what they used to be. Most if not all trailer tires are not made here anymore. I have an old Correct craft trailer with 12" wheels and spent alot of...

I was told many years ago by Jabsco that my pump 11850-80 had been replaced by 11850-0801 which even then was obsolete and had been replaced by 11850-0711, which I understand has been discontinued....
If all else fails George you can try here-http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk/shopping.asp?intDepartmentId=4 I ended up here no one in the states had what I needed and I even went to several glass shops.
If all else fails you could try Depco pump, http://www.depcopump.com/ they also have an on line marine catalog but it's hard to navigate
It's been my experence that your not going to get an off the shelf match on a 40+ year old boat. I tried to match mine with the color wheel they have.I thought I had a match,it turned out too light....
George,I don't know if you have heard of these but if you have to drill new holes for your rubrail consider one of these drills. Their called a cabinet hinge drill bit. You get the one for the size...
George I'm curious, I reread your thread but could not tell.Did you shoot in one shot to the thickness you needed? When I did some parts for my boat I made the mistake of getting my gel from...
Am I right in thinking that both parts, the crank drive and the pump drive broke? Did the pump seize? My pump drive side was destroyed when the PO left the key get loose ruinning the pump shaft...
Get yourself what is called a self centering hinge drill bit. It is a spring loaded drill bit that centers in the countersunk hole and drills a straight hole. A real good wood worker tool store will...
What is actually wrong with yours? I see a chip out of the mounting surface, anything else? Now that I look closer it must be a shadow.
Thanks. In my case the rail seam starts a foot or two around the side. So naturally I started there and worked my way around one screw at a time. As I worked my way around the back on the corners I...
While I don't own a Donzi,I like to dream! I replaced my rub rail on my Correct Craft, which I think must be much like yours. I held off a long time because I thought it would be way too hard. Here is...
ps to Gary S - forgot to mention in my last post; great pic of your HM . . . . and I love those valve covers !! http://www.donzi.net/forums/images/smilies/hyper.gif That picture has the original...
You could always call Holman Moody and ask Lee about the cam.He is the son of one of the original founders and was the one involved on the marine side.I have called before and he actually answers...
It's my understanding that a 347 is not a good marine motor something to do with the rod ratio and high constant rpm? the 331 is supposed to be a better choice. You HM parts also would fit a 351...
Since no one has answered I'll give you my thoughts. I would source another block and go from there.Trouble with that is the extra work and the "I might as well do this too" syndrome. Maybe the...
And here for reference is the back of a newer but still vintage teleflex

Wow George, thanks for the link.Quite impressive on what you have done.I was a little discouraged on my results at first, but seeing what you have done helps.I can see why people paint, but the end...
I was getting pinholes, it's good to know why. I actually thought I didn't have it clean enough. thanks
I too am attempting to re-gel some parts also but am done for the year as it's too cold now.I bought this gun, some gloss additive and used Minicraft gel. 50/50 seemed too thin for me since I'm...

I know this is compairing apples to oranges but I have a Correct Craft with a Holman Moody, and hope this helps. When I got it in the 80's all the gauges were busted out but the oil, temp, amp and fuel...
They are called spiders or inserts. Mine is 2 1/4" in diameter and 7/16" thick. I got an extra at a farm store they are used on all kinds of pumps. Ask by brand name Lovejoy. Just found the part #...
Here you are,if you are missing it it will be noisey and could damage the drive. The side with the indent goes toward the pump, the pump shaft sticks out of the drive.
