Is this a stirpped down modified 27 sport or some other version of the same hull? ...doesn't have some of the scoops and some of the other styling details usually seen on the Mag 27.
What's the story on the 28SS ?
...Well what I really want is a Magnum 27 sport! If I can't find one then something that still oozes style has a good ride in the chop and is fun to drive. All that said, kids are getting to an age...
Thanks Bill. ...that Cig sure looked nice. I'll check out the Mirage boats but like I said a minute ago may be going another direction for a bit although I suppose one could wake behind a go fast...
Looks Solid but not quite what I'm wanting. ...although the kids are after me to get a wakeboard boat so it may not matter in the end anyway. We'll see...
This one has a cover and it seems to have helped but it's pretty worn out now...
Yes that's a looker for sure. I'm just kicking tires and bouncing ideas around right now.
...yep, I was thinking maybe 50k invested for a 25-30K boat. Sounds about like all boats.
I finally had the chance to go and look over the Spitfire I have known about for a while. I think it's been parked under these trees for about 15 years. ...shame because it looks like it was a...
Went and looked at the spitfire yesterday... I will post the pics later today.
Yeah, I'm a bit concerned about how much work the 24 Spitfire might need. I looked at that powerboatlistings page. Those ads are really, really old. I kind of like the less sporty one listed...

Dyno tuning will be your friend. Just went through this with A whole lot of help from my friends on my old Porsche 911
one thing you could do if you are concerened about shifting at higher RPM or really with too much torque is install a shift interrupter that drops a couple cylinders and uloads the drive.
There...
Can't wait to hear about the twin turbo marinized eco-boost engine that goes in after this LS-3. J/k. Couldn't resist though
Like!
I will miss the old boat but am glad Jim will be enjoying her!
I'll probably get another when I'm not quite so busy as I am now with life and other distractions.
I'll check in here once in a...
This is an awesome idea. ...but I gotta ask are you trying to challenge George for the longest build?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I'm a definite maybe. ...might get another local 22 to tag along as well.
I have a nice 22 in Houston, TX. I could even tow it to you in Austin.
