Way to go Mark. Must be a blast on the water.
Along with the rest, great job on the wiring, a pain-staking tedious job I don't look forward to.
Phil, mine has pre drilled, reamed holes that press fit onto the flanged holes on the crank pulley. I thought that would center it pretty well, but it didn't. It needs to be corrected.
I bought a bracket thats kinda cheezy. George got a much better one, at least it looks good in the pics.
Phil, mine dances around a bit. Not in the boat yet. Any suggestions?
Thanks Scot :cool!: Glad to hear from you
Artie, I dont know how I missed that thread. From your posts I never doubted your glass/paint ability, but that was a great project.
I didn't see anything there about non-skid though. I thought I'd...
I'd rather use paint. Probably be easier and wont have the issues of gel bonding to epoxy.
Good luck and try not to get too depressed if it takes longer. Most projects do.
Aside from the debates on topside paints, I dont recall a topic on non skid.
Some feedback on what others have used and how it held up would be appreciated. Debates are welcome and encouraged
So Craig, did you get a taker? I'd hate to find out it got wasted.
Congrats from the east side and what everybody else said!
So how are those tabs working out on that level plane?
Did some island hopping Monday. Last stop was at Browns, but it was late.
Made for a nice ride home since most boats were off the water by then.
I'll keep an eye out for you... if I can hitch a ride on a bud's boat.
The 1409 is actually 600 cfm. Thats what's on my sbc.
Dont run that gas in anything. When I drained mine and used it in the lawn tractor it ran like sh!t for a month.
The foam cuts easily and the rest can be scraped and sanded.
I missed this one also. :happy_bi: Got me beat by a year and change.
Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but if it says registered user under the screen name does that not indicate a non subscriber?
Just wondering....how does a non contributing registered user become a moderator?
I believe that is closed cell foam, isn't it George? It wont absorb liquid.
With the tank located that far forward, foam is probably a must for total support. Is that the original location?
WOW :smileybo:
Not my style either, but others are ok with it and seems to be priced right.
I'd take it for free for just the trailer.
A stiffer hull not only rides and handles better, but will most likely go faster. George, your work is amazing, the dash looks great too.
I think its priced well considering it comes with a 2008 Yamaha 60 and a 1979 merc 80.
This would be cool to have, a floating '59 Chevy.
