This. The actual date of "model change" depended primarily upon field inventory, backlog, and feedback from dealers. In years where we had good retail order backlogs from winter shows, we'd typically...
Carl,
While it is true that I am no longer involved in the day to day operations at DonziDirect, it doesn’t mean I’ve walked away from the business and it doesn’t mean we’ve turned our...
To Carl (and all),
I'm sorry about this problem, but in all fairness, this is the first we've heard of it.
Every single piece of DonziDirect upholstery has been produced by PPI. Here's a...
In my time at Donzi (1997-2010) we never painted a hull bottom. All bottoms, regardless of color, were done in gel. Specifically as it relates to the Classics, most hullsides and deck stripes were...
Thanks everyone.
I need to make sure I set the record straight on Carl's comment regarding Donzi exercising its intellectual properties rights.
We (DonziDirect) didn't ask for it, weren't...
Hey gang,
Josh here. Currently I'm flying somewhere over the Carolinas on a 10-day business trip and have some time to respond, so bear with me. I still own DonziDirect and right now in the peak...
Dimensionally that wouldn't have worked, because of the seat flaps, table base provisions, etc. already sewn into the carpets. We have already sold most of them to Baja customers.
Sorry, just saw this. To answer a couple questions:
Carpet: Unfortunately, mills no longer produce premium marine-grade carpet in teal. The only teal carpet we've found is a really flimsy glue-in...
Hey gang,
Sorry I missed this. Yes, the Donzi Classic interiors that we sell through DonziDirect.com are produced by PPI. In fact, we are now the exclusive retail supplier of PPI's Donzi Classic...
Hi Patrick, thanks for pointing this out. As we discussed, the variances in logo art came to light very soon after we started our business. We corrected the situation and have sold these logos for...
Hi Ted,
We're offering these decals because numerous people have requested them. Hatch logos weren't seen on boats from the Donzi factory until the 2002 22 Classic SE, which had a painted "DONZI"...

Here's a screen shot where you can see the guy clinging to the deck rail after the boat flops off the biggest wave. He's clearly forward of the windscreen.
If you watch the video in full-screen mode, you can definitely see someone get tossed up over the windshield. They wind up clinging to the bow rail. They were really lucky they didn't get tossed!
Base power was the 7.4 MPI (310 HP). The 454 Mag MPI was an upgrade, with 385 HP. Easiest way is to look right on the flame arrestor cover. While the 310 HP engine was based on the same 454 big...
Congrats, I'm glad to hear you've sold it. Too bad about the windscreen...I know it wasn't cracked when we used your boat to film this: ...
Thanks for saying this. I'm glad you're enjoying them! Lots more to come. :)
The Z 32 Super Sport (SS) package was a dress-up package to give the boat a bolder, sportier look. Many of the SS boats received 454 Mag or 502 Mag engines. In 2000, the SS package consisted of the...
DonziDirect.Com's contribution has been sent! Thanks, Scot, for all you do.

No, the Medallions came from original tooling commissioned by Ken Hall when Pro-Line bought Donzi and AMH was formed as the corporate operating entity. They didn't evolve from earlier Donzi or OMC...
I can't find anything in my files to confirm, but if I remember correctly, all the Medallions 182+ had a deadrise of 19 degrees.
Early ZFs were built by Pro-Line Boats and were entirely wood-free, as Divinycell was used in place of wood throughout. Once ZF production was moved to Donzi, marine ply was used in the transom and...
Send your hull ID number to me at info@donzidirect.com. I'll see if I can't tell you what was used on your boat.

As it turns out, I may have been incorrect (even though I'm sure I remember two-part foam going under those subfloors). I spoke with Chuck Wagner, who has handled customer service and warranty at...
Those areas are foam-filled.
