Come on admit it,I know you have a few tunes that when played get your Donzi juices going. I have a couple of standby's that I use while I'm fighting traffic on my way home. Some how my Volvo just doesn't quite give me the same thrill as a seat of the pants Donzi ride but drop in a CD and I'm almost there. I thought it might be fun to see what gets your motor runing. Ok I'll go first, "Fat Bottom Girl" by Queen and a little less known tune by Mark Knopfler "Toll Gate" he's not much of a vocalist but no one can play a guitar quite like him.

Maybe I am showing my age but how about "Born to be wild" and since I am from Ca I always love hearing "Surfing USA" by the Beach Boys.

Theme from "TOP GUN" or
Christopher Cross - "Ride Like the Wind" for my Classic (18), or "Sailing" for the Z3250 Daytona, just before sunset.
Donna Summers - "On the Radio", etc., for party and dance music on the big boat.
SADE (any) for the passionate times onboard.

Looped,
I'm with you. Love those southern boys...
Ponyboy and I were lucky enough to attend a private showing of Jimmy Van Zant and his boys this year at bike week (at the Naswa no less)
From what I remember (yes, a few too many cocktails) it was quite amazing

Suprised that no one has mentioned "Smoke on the Water" yet. I get a kick out of that one in the boat. Also we play the theme song from "Miami Vice" real loud as sort of a joke, but it's still fun.

Hey Boxy, did you get your 18 yet? We'll have to get together sometime next summer, and maybe get some people up to Canada for a weekend, I'm sure they'll come especially with the $ exchange.

I haven't bought it yet. The drop in the dollar added about $1000 to the price tag, and I'm hoping to wait till my boat sale is finalized. (should be done right around christmas) Hopefully it will still be available, because it is close, and in great shape.
Next summer either at the APBA race, or in the 1000 Islands Poker Run would be great.

my two cents:
music mood depends on how much fuel is gettin' blown up in sixteen cylinders and/or speed:

20 gph (puttin')=Aerosmith "Sweet Emotion"
40 gph (movin' a little now)=Filter "Nice Shot"
50 gph and up (hair on fire)= White Zombie "More Human than Human"

just
"turnin' gas into noise" :D

I spent three of my "formative" summers (Jr. and Sr. years of college and first year of law school) selling T-shirts, driving a bus and handling security for Hank, Jr. and after a long day of boating, have quite a hankerin, if you will, for some of his older stuff.

Skynyrd for the top end runs.

Amy loves everything off of Creed's "Human Clay" ("Weathered" is pretty good, too--released today)

Buffett & James Taylor when the sun goes down.
