The Smith Mountain Lake 2003 Poker Run is gearing up fast for May 16-17. Registration is limited to 75 boats, we did it the week after AOTH II this year and had a BLAST. 7 stops, big and spread out, very nice.
It is open to the public as of 1 Dec, there is a waiting list, call them now if interested..
Last years runners must pay by 30 Nov, we have ($265 for 1 boat and 2 hands).
I rank the lake right up there if not nicer than Cumberland (no floaters and deep).
Just FYI if it is in your boating striking distance.
