I just got off the phone with sue at Bilt Rite for a new interior for my 1966 16', nice people by the way, The ? is I have a red boat with a white stripe should I get white with red piping or red white (2") candystripe interior, Sue said they did that alot back then.
does anybody have this?
hows it look?

The red and white candy stripe is real sharp and boats in the 60's and 70's had them. Don, my 66 Classic 18 had the candy stripe.

Red back with Red & white stripe every 2 inch. Looked Great.

Don,
With an all red boat and white stripe, the red/white candystripe might be too much red. My '67 Ski Sporter (http://www.donzi.net/hull.cfm?id=198) sounds similar to yours but with an all white interior, if you want to take a look. This opinion would be that a white interior with red piping would look real sharp. Another two cents worth for you to consider!

I may be showing my age, BUT I do like the "candy stripe". I had it on my last Cigarette. VERY COOL !!
