Sorry for the size as I cropped this pic off of an Ebay auction. I used to have a hardcover book on Ford Mustangs and remember the pic on the left was in the book. I would absolutly love to find a decent pic of this somewhere so I couls frame it for my Donzi den. It is by far my favorite Donzi photo of all time. I'm pretty sure this is really a "Ford" photo though. If anyone has any old Ford Motor Company books maybe they have this pic. Also, the shot on the right is cool too with the jet, but the mustang shot is still my favorite. Anyone???

Randy you are right there in motor city, you would think that Ford would have some sort of an archive office?

That would be a great item to reproduce for board members.

The photo was also used in a Ford publication called "Buyer's Digest of new car facts for 1967"
The picture is about 5 X 7.
If I scan it the quality won't be too good.

Randy,

I've seen those, but, from the print between them, it looks like the same place you got these, in the really really great big 86 or 87 DONZI catalog.

I have that; as I recall they're pretty small there. I am assuming you scanned them from that catalog.

I'll give it a try if no one comes up with something better.

They are cool pics... but then most pictures will look better if there's a 60's Mustang in there somewhere. It's a proven fact. wink

That pic is from the 1965 Ford brochure. I was standing on the foredeck, and they airbrushed my ugly a** out! I have the original brochure.

How can that be a 1965 picture when the car is at least a 1967 ??

I stand corrected (senior moment), it was taken in '65 for the '66 catalog.

Brownie,

The Mustang in the pic looks like a 67 or 68. It's definatly not a 66. Anyway, I went searching for a 67 or 68 Ford Sales Brochure on ebay and here is what I found.

Ebay Ad (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2211587536&category=14027)

Here's a response to a question I asked the seller.

Hello, The information you were looking for is in this brochure--Black Mustang convertible-- The boat is white--Donzi 28 Powered by Ford Broad
Jumper 2. Thank you, Margaret

The Mustang is indeed a 1967. Had on just like it. Still have the brochure with the picture in it.
