View Full Version : Member Status ?
Harbormaster, I was looking at various members profiles and noticed that some were rated "Full" and others were blank. The last time I noticed this rating area there was a star system in place. A quick explanation of this new scale would be appreciated.

At this time there is no rating system in place to speak of.
I was getting "status" questions at least 3 times a week. The only meaning behind it was if you post over 35 times your status was changed from junior member to full member. I removed the stars because of the same reason.
I might bring them back. I have not decided.
I have my hands full right now writing a system that will allow people to update and add photos
their own registry entries. If anyone has anything else to add to the wish list, let me know.

Scot,

Scot's argument is that chat is not a good format for archiving. I feel this is true. My argument is that posts are not the best format for mindless BS'ing. I would love to see a chat feature and i would think importand info should and would still be posted for archiving purposes. So what do you say Scot? Maybe we should post a poll.

Why not pick up the phone and call?

Dude, How much do you make? Long distance ain't cheap. Plus it's difficult to BS with multiple people on the phone. Do you know what a conference call with 5 parties who are located all across america would cost? eek! Chat, once established, is free no pay. I just think it would be cool to be in real time with some Donzi buds now and then. Like I said, for mindless BS. Important info should stay in the posts. I miss my Winni trash friends like Mustang and Stevie Maaaahhh wink wink

Hypereboy,
Last time I looked, you could sort by state in the registry then just scan down until you find the Ohio section...states are listed alphabetically when you do the search by state.
