There wouldn't be an HIN stamp on a boat that old and any handwritten mark likely long gone by now.

If it's not a splash, one day it may have looked like this.....

Pretty much just an oddity now, you either like it or you don't.....

I would wager it is definitely real. But it's been heavily modified away from original configurations. You are unlikely to find a serial number from original on that boat now.

That boat very likely had a Mercruiser 0 drive (handcrank trailer tilt) mated to a Renault Mercruiser 80hp. I don't believe any of them would have originally had a Volvo 270. Brochures would tell you the original specs on F 14s. I think the current drive serial number would not tell you anything traced back to that boat.

They only made one 14 with a Volvo and it was not an f14 it was a baby you will never know what hull that is too much work done plus a 270 came out in early 1970s well after the end of 14 production

My 66 (maybe even a 65) St T hadn't been bastardized like your boat when I got it and there was positively NO numbers anywhere .
I'd let go of the dream of finding a number somewhere . There wasn't many produced , just be happy that yours still exists .

Your only hope to ID this would be to see if the original gel is hiding under there. That would help. Maybe it was a special color. Cool little boat though..then
