I used to post here a lot under the name "FlatRacer, aka BarrelBack", but the last few times I tried to log on, I could not not get on. No way, no how. No idea why. Anyway, I re-registered and shortened my user name to FlatRacer like it is on most of the other boating sites I frequent.
I still have my '67 18' V-drive Barrel Back, "Honeybun" that was originally owned by Bob Freihofer (of the Bakery fame) which I use mostly on Lake Bomoseen, VT with occasional visits to Lake George, and Lake Hopatcong.
Also this year I'm returning to APBA flat bottom circle racing in the new SA (Sportsman-Advanced) ski boat class with my '92 Bezer, SA-86, "Already Gone". I'll be running at Greenwood Lake (Hi, Matty) in June, and at Lake Lenape and Lake Hopatcong in September, so come on out to the races and be sure to stop by in the pits and say hello.
