Well, I got out for one last time this past Saturday...
The 2016 boating season ended on November 19th this year; it was 60 and sunny Saturday and cloudy, 40, and windy on Sunday. Today, a cold 34, with snow showers...
Last year, my last ride was Dec 12th...

Similar experience here: last day out was Sunday, 13Nov. 60+ and sunny--perfect Fall boating. Could have gotten a few more trips in through this weekend if the boatel was running, but this past Tuesday was their last day of forklift service.

This past Saturday was gorgeous also, 63 and sunny. Unntil the evening when it spun on a dime, dropped 20 degrees and the 30 mph winds rolled in. Finished winterizing and waxing at 1pm Saturday, while it was still awesome outside, and dropped her off at the warehouse a couple hours before that front rolled in.

All 1985, Boat, Motor, and Trailer... We've owner her for 4 years/seasons... bought her the same year as the Donzi...

I replaced the fuel tank, gauges, and swapped the lower unit from a spare motor I bought off Craig's list.
Had to replace the axil and a cross member on the trailer.

Great little package that gets lots of use for not a lot of $$...:yes:
