An interesting movie from 1966 sent to me by a good friend Royce Humphreys (https://www.facebook.com/royce.humphreys) at the Donzi factory. See if you can name the guys loading and working there.

SHORTY, what a great guy, Roy Farmer and Gene Schoell. The black haired guy was kinda an adopted son to Roy and Gladys.

Very cool!

Lots of old Eaton outdrives.

Royce - what's the story with the Snipe?
Any connection to the Farrar family in CT?
They are/have been sailmakers for decades.

This was my good friends grandfather taking delivery of his 1966 Ski Sporter. Notice the cool new 1966 Toronado that they are hitching it to. They were hauling it back to Iowa. Does anyone know who the Donzi employees are?

Jeffs grandfather sold this 1966 Ski Sporter for a new 1968 18' 2+3 in yellow with the black stripe. Jeff still has it in their boathouse along with the original bill of sale. We are trying to find out who bought the 66 as we were told that it stayed on the lake for a short time.

Very cool!

I'd love to be able to watch it but it won't play for me as it stands now . And I'm not on facebook :shocking:

Is there any other way you can load it ?

I almost got stumped by the same issues. Cut and paste the link that is posted just above the video picture in the 1st post

Thanks yeller . I went back , with your encouragement , and clicked on the 'follow link' on the facebook page and it opened up .
That was a trip back in time . Wish there had been more footage and stuff from inside the shop as well .
Did people dress formally back then or what ? Definitely reminds me of when I was a kid.
I was hoping to maybe see my boat , or something that could have been it , hanging around in the lot but the closest thing turned out to be a blue Hornet , not a blue St T .

Thanks for sharing that Bert
