Would like to try and find something a bit closer as I have to pay the fright to get the boat to Austin.
Guessing $15K plus from CT

I dragged her back to CT from MD with our Durango. Got 17miles per gal running 70mph in 4th gear most of the trip. Cost me about $300 round trip including 1 night in hotel and beer for my co-pilot...:cool!:

Farthest I've traveled for a boat was a 24' Pantera I bought back in 2000 from the Detroit area. That trip was about 1300miles round trip and the bill my co-pilots ran up in the strip bar the night we stayed over where, well... we were younger and stupid...:party:

2000miles 1 way from me to you would be quite a different haul...:lookaroun:

I'll probably get another when I'm not quite so busy as I am now with life and other distractions.

I'll check in here once in a while to see what's happening. I'll be loosely following the LS-3 swap thread as that looks like a fun one... but man talk about a glutton for punishment!
