Good to know.

I have a woodworking CNC machine that can handle a few plastics such as PVC board. I made these speaker grills for my boat. The one on the left is straight out of the CNC, and the one on the right is after some sanding.

Cool link that could be very useful for folks here at some point down the road.

Here's another one .

I used these guys back in 1999 to make a replacement instrument/gauge cover for the Magnum using 60/40 green lexan .
It looks as though since then they've branched out a lot .

FWIW, there's an organization who's goal is to have a 3-D printer w/in
50 miles of anyone in the world.

These machines have become so much better, the products can be used as is
in many cases.

I've used Plastics America in Tampa. They've done good work and I thought their prices were reasonable. It wasn't anything major but I need to have some rings made so that my new speakers would fit where the old ones were.

I like PVC board. It machines well, you can glue it to itself or other things unlike HDPE, i.e., Starboard.
