Engine Help Needed

I need some oil caps that fit my BBC Wiend cast aluminum valve covers.
So far I've found some cad plated caps that do a remarkable job and don't leak,
but after 2 or 3 months, look like crap.
Then I found some chrome plated caps that don't fit tight and do leak (see pics).
The gaskets are too thin, or the ears aren't the proper distance to make the
installed height correct to cause the gasket to seal.
Does anyone know of some part numbers of preferably stainless caps that seal
and don't leak.

Have you tried Summit. They have a very large selection of caps of all styles.

Scuff the one down that fits and paint that thing! Im sure you can make it look amazing. Just a thought...:)

fwiw G you can tight them up by taking a pair of duck bil plyers with the small jaws and bend the tabs a little so they compress when twisted..

Yeah, I tried that, but the ears are very short and extremely stiff. Also I considered doubling up on
the gaskets, but the cap is riveted together. I could drill the rivet out and replace it w/a pop rivet.
I was looking for a simpler solution....if I stepped back and looked at all the hundreds of items
I fabricated, or had fabricated, it just seems like it never ends.
Maybe it's a good reason to own a slightly less customized boat.

Add a cork gasket to it thick enough to make it fit right. the auto parts should have replacement cork gaskets.
