I owned a standard 22 Classic for 10 years and became used to how easy it is to take a sharp turn and roll all the way up onto the edges :-). My question is, since the Black Hawk is more of a surface drive, would the Black Hawk classic still handle the way the standard Classic does, taking turns at slow speeds? Will it still roll up on its edges like the standard 22 Classic?

The Blackhawk handles the same in turns , it is the fore and aft that is a lot different. You really drive the boat with the tabs much more so than a 22. The trim is really set it and forget it but again , the hull is very dependent on the k planes. I put 280 plates on mine and it made a big difference. Being able to adjust the tabs from the throttle handle also makes driving the boat more manageable. If you do the " second bounce " you will understand !! I much prefer my 22 classic to the Blackhawk , although there is definitely an adrenaline factor running the Blackhawk full speed tabs up. My 2 cents. Others love the ride. It's a matter of preference.
