Rare Maelstrom 23

There are two Maelstrom 23' performance V's for sale. These are race designed boats by Michael Peters and carry a 8'6" beam.

The first one below is a 1989 and has a 454 Mag and the guy wants $13,000. The second one is a 1994 and has a monster 525SC in it (gps'd 89mph) and that guy wants $19,500. Both look to be in really nice shape.

There was one of these out here in the boonies back in the 80's sometime . I think it was one of the very earliest ones.
It might have been 2 different shades of blue and white . Had a 454 I believe. Something happened and it changed hands a few times and then vanished . I think it was actually exported , something which is highly unusual .

It was distinctive but I could never warm up to the styling .

The gent who has the red one with the Supercharged 525 has not been able to move it at $19,500.

I don't know much about the car motors but I thought that was a pretty expensive engine. The styling is certainly different.
