Ted's had it on the market for several years.
Had it sold once, then bought it back.
The gentleman that bought it said it would perform
exactly like the claims.

The question at the bottom of the ad is the funniest.. $5000 bet on the performance, back and forth..

It should be 100mph or very close I would think.

That is hilarious:yes:. I guess some one didn't know Mr X was the test driver for Donzi.:kingme: If there is only one 22 to own, that is the one. That boat has been factory engineered for the power and speed that it has and reaches. :worthy: I believe the hull is reinforced with carbon fiber, and a lot of thought went into putting that Ilmore in there. It wasn't just plopped in and there you go:superman:

$89,000 for a 22 Classic that's better in every way than a new one? I know nothing about the car motors but it seems like a fair price to me given the "X" pedigree. Concourse condition stuff doesn't come around often.

Also consider (below) what you'd have to spend to go faster in a 22 footer.......$125k. Makes $90k look like a deal.

Sale (as of 8/16/15)
Custom built 21SR. 556 ci twin turbo charged, fuel injected Pfaff engine, 1340 hp, approx 30 hours since rebuild. Custom installation by Nordic Boats and Prime Marine complete with custom gelcoating and interior. Boat is equipped with front and side ballast tanks, Mercury 6 offshore drive, custom Extreme trailer and cover. Top speed in excess of 130MPH. Boat is perfect for poker runs or other fun adventures. Will run with the 40 foot Skaters if the conditions are right and you'll have a blast showing this boat off around the harbor. Truly is a one of a kind boat built to handle any conditions. Asking $125,000.

This is classic.....from eBay...

Q: I'll come with a cashiers check for your asking price under one condition. You show me 100 mph on the radar gun and GPS speedometer. 99 mph and I'm going home you pay for my plane fare and $5000 in expenses.
A: Done! I accept your offer. Lets make it even more interesting, you pay me an additional $5000 for every MPH over 100 MPH. You good with that?

That's hilarious !! When you price out the cost of the engine / ITS / out drive , Teds boat is really a steal of a deal ... If one is in the market at that price point.

He isn't serious. Probably can't even come up with $5,000. It would be funny if he goes through with it. In the spring I was challenged to run for pinks! That was a bit tempting what with Sterling right down the street and all..........
