Hi Bert,

Those look cool and the quality looks great for the price - given my current stable, I am going to hold out for an order on Hornet (2+3), Corsican and Baby 14 if that is ever able to materialize based on model/order demand.

PS: Baby 14 is almost done - spot is saved for you to test drive...

Rob

Your tempting me Rob. Just tell me where and when but you better hurry of you may have to bring it south unless you installed ski's on her.

Yeah - time is running out. Maybe one month of predictable boating left up here....no skis as you can see...

Boy does that look clean. Can't wait to get the two boats together in the water. Just say when and where.

To anyone's knowledge have models of the Classics ever been produced in the past?

Yes a one off 16 model was done years ago. It was perfection and all hand made. It took I believe 4-5 years to build. I will see if I have pictures somewhere.

WOW!!!

Incredible attention to detail.

I'm guessing that nothing was ever mass produced by a model company such as Revel etc.

Thanks.

Dan,
And it looks exact. Worth every penny. When it arrives please take a picture of you holding the model in front of your boat like a Don did and post it. Thanks for sharing.

received my model yesterday from sd model makers. i am EXTREMELY830118301283013 happy with the job and feel they captured the 16 spot on. the company is great to work with -captain brad responded to all emails quickly and was also available by phone as well. my model is 27" long (including outdrive ). have included a picture of me holding it to better show the size. i feel if one is going to have a model made it is worth it to go to a larger size - really stands out. hopes this helps those considering a model of their DONZI.
