Guys, I'm pricing a boat lift and the only weight I know for my Sweet 16 is the donzi literature, which says it weighs 1,800 pounds. Typically, I believe, this is with fluids and 1/2 tank of fuel. Does anybody know how close this weight is to actual? I'm thinking a 2,600 pound rating, at least.

Check the current site. Says 2686 with full fuel and heaviest motor and all options. So, I think you're in the ballpark. Add some weight for gear and I bet you're close.

Mike, NADA shows generally 2,600 pounds, except for 1,850 in 1996. Their 1992 weight doesn't even match the literature from donzi that came with the boat. I'll probably look for a 3,000 pound minimum.

Looking at lifts I would go with a 5000 lb rating it will last longer and will handle a boat that may fill with rain water plus if you have 4 people in the boat when you pull in you want something that it not at it or above it limits
