What product should I use to seal a thin crack in my engine hatch cover? It flipped open today, snapped the strut out of the ball joint, and hit the lifting ring, which caused an 8" hairline crack to appear on the bottom center interior of the hatch (thankfully not the exterior, although it did leave a slight depression). I'd like it to blend in with the white as much as possible so it's not so obvious, even though the inside of the hatch is not finished off. Thanks!

Carefully grind out the crack w/a taper ratio of about 12:1. Replace the removed
material w/a course of bi-directional stitchmat w/the mat towards the hatch.
After curing, sand the new material flush.
Wax will have to be added to the resin.

Thanks, I ordered the 3M Bondi kit, so will try that with your method...
