This is a one time, June 19-20-21, 2015 Award for the Best Boat at the St. Micheals, MD Boat Show that was designed by Walt Walters. Among his designs, He did many Donzi, some Formula, Cigarette, Chris Craft, Fino, Monza, and Magnum raand boats. This is not a complete list.
If you want to join in the fun with your classic Walt Walters boat, please come to the show this year. The welcome mat is out. Walt and his wife are excited about this recognition for him.
This is a three day show with boat rides (weather permitting),Beer, wine, and light oeuvres party, Narrated tour by an expert on the Bay ( coast guard says first 40 only) in a classic bay-built, Judging, In-water and on-land boat displays, B-B-Q and Awards Lunch under the tent surrounded by classic boats on Sunday (this meal is a separate ticket), and lots of getting to know each other boating fun.
