my only guess is someone put a 1off deck on a ST Tropez some things look right and some don't ..................21 feet 1966???????????

Same hull as the one off 21 St Tropez we are working on. What we have is a stretched 19. Done by Roy Farmer at the factory. I don't like the panel, that's for sure. The tabs are interesting. I bought a set of those. They are 280 Merc tabs with short factory plates. They are not 150 model. That's what the Baby has. I think they are called 180 model.

Well , the deck sure doesn't have the same design/styling near the joint as the Hornets did. Out of the 2 lifting rings , the stern one is period .

Might this be an unknown clone ?

Okay, not original. Even if it's a conversion of sorts, it could be improved upon. It's not a bad platform to start with... plus it's neat and clean.

However, I don't know if it commands the asking price... well, yes, I do and it does not. But, if it were priced right It's worth consideration (to someone) as it's not junk.

they made a hornet clone with several decks, a cuddy being one , wonder if it is one of their renditions the fuel fill would work for a bloke trailering down there

It doesn't look like there's any crown to that deck... anywhere. That's why I think it's a one off home job.

woobs yes the deck is flat what I meant was the deck hull joint I have been going thru all my hornet pics. The lines on the Hornet are a little more subtle than it's smaller siblings. BUT once you see them they grow on you well at least they did on me.

It does look as they stretched the boat some of the crown of the deck went too but it was never flat, the arch at the transom looks flatter on the H3 than it does on the H or H2 but again angle of the pic matters

in picture 1 and 2 look at the rubrail on the H2 look as it sweeps down at the back while the yellow boat stays level

in pics 3 and 4 look at the crown in the deck of a H and the flatness of the yellow boat

in pics 5 and 6 look at the rub rail across the transom the H3 is flatter than mine but still has an arch the yellow boat seems flatter

didn't think a HIN would shed much light. I did search the boards and it seems a company down under had some kind of agreement to make/sell a donzi model in 16 and 19 feet the co. was called Admiral Donzi don't know if that sheds much light either.

If that's a molded glass deck , which it sure looks like , that's one heck of a lot of work to make a one off .

By 'molded' did you mean they made a re-usable mold? I was thinking they maybe built a deck right onto the hull, using flat ply (or nearly flat) as a base and building it up. Couple shots from inside the cabin, looking up, might tell a good bit about what was done.

Lotta work regardless, but curious what details suggest a mold was built, if that's what you suspected.

I've seen a lot of glassed over plywood abortions in my lifetime and none of them had the look that that one does .

Gotcha. Certainly looks well done. Strikes me as very well executed, but not professional-level design.
