1968 ski sporter deck removal

can anyone on here tell me the process of separating the top deck from the hull? I have everything removed except the steering cable and tow rings. are these decks 5200'd in? I would really appreciate any ones response. I haven't been on here for a while and I finally have some time to restore my 16. will post pictures soon

Others can jump in too. I've pulled the deck on my x-18. They were not originally sealed with 5200. Mine had no caulk on the seam. You do have to remove the lifting rings. There were 6 fiberglass tabs on mine that needed to be cut, three on the ski box, one in the floor locker and one on either side of the floor tub, where it meets the hull. Then take off the rub rail and a bunch of screws beneath the rub rail and you should be ready to lift. Make sure to get all the wiring disconnected too.
