This Hornet III had previously been posted on the Sierra Boat website for a year or two. It was recently taken off. If you are interested in it, would recommend calling the folks there to get some background on it.

On that note, Sierra Boat did add a new Hornet III to their showroom. Arrow. Has the correct windshield with an updated power plant and outdrive. 502 Mag with Bravo 1.

this is a VERY nice boat, it looks exactly like mine.. this one has the proper engine room stringer and gusset supports that most, if not all, did not have :)

with that said, i'm sure the seller is taking at least a 15-20k loss at this point :garfield:

you absolutely, positively, cannot restore or update an HIII to this condition, for 37k :worthy:

however, like the Pizzazz sale recently, market trends and buyer interest will determine the selling value

.
. not too sure about those ladder mounts on the side of the hull though :bonk:

What did Pizazz finally sell for? The Ebay ad for this particular boat may be one of the worst written.

I am not sure for certain but I believe that Arrow is a Tahoe only boat. They don't state it in the listing but there is a chance that it has been a freshwater only, if not a Tahoe only boat it's entire life.

It's still on fleabay with 17 bids, it doesn't say reserve not met. I'd guess if it doesn't get high enough the seller will pull the auction. Might be worth a bid for somebody out west.

I think it's a different boat than the one pictured above - swim platform, drive, hardware are different.

I am looking at buying this boat. (eBay one)

Anybody know anything about the 330 drive?
I was told that it is very heavy and would want to swap in a bravo.
Also that windshield is not correct. Owner said that it was correct and a show boat and that is how it came. I don't think that is correct at all.

isn't "blue Rhino" a tahoe boat too

can't lump benchseats , IIIs , and charitable fundraising together as far as resale prices.

a 330 TRS is unbreakable if maintained correctly..

looks to me that the windshield has been cut down from the original, if it was original then it was cut down from a correct example

no reason not to bid

This fellow is cleaning out His house. Donzi sold for $14k. Really cool '54 Studebaker unloaded for $23k and his impressive custom '50 Oldsmobile is up for grabs now. Wish Him the best and hopefully the next chapter in His life is a good one.
