!6 Shelby ?

Can anybody tell me if there was ever such a thing as a 16 Shelby ?, I have been offered one, I must admit it looks right from the pictures,( the boat is 500 miles away ) but I thought the Shelby boats were 22s ?

I've had another good look at the photo's of this 16 Shelby, I'm not to sure about it, it really does look right, minimal deck fittings, Shelby wheel & gauges, right colors etc, but it has what looks like an Alpha 1 gen 1 drive, surely, Shelby's would have been made in the 'naughty's', i.e. 2006, 2007, and that would be a gen 2 drive.....

I thought the Shelbys were only 22s. Could be wrong though.

I think the Shelby's had a plaque on the dash like the Anniv and Aronow editions

I never heard of a 16 Shelby but it may have been a special order with a graphic scheme of a Shelby They did come in several color combos

it may be a resto to look like a shelby

Yes Carl, that's what I thought, I'll have to contact the guy and get a bit more detail, one problem is I'm in the U.K. and the boats in main land Europe, so there may be a language problem, and the guys asking a lot for it around $35000..!! so it needs to be genuine,

Yes Mattyboy, I think it may be a Resto look alike, I can't see any special i d plaque in the photo's and if it had anything like that , it would be a selling feature .

The factory NEVER made a 16 Shelby.

Thanks for that Mr X, I didn't think the factory had made any, but its always worth asking, I'll stick with the 16 I have , I know the history of that, and the other one at $35000 for a fake, is not what I would call a bargain.....
