I went to see "The Exorcist" first run - the tickets were $4.00 - that was outrageous back then (1973), almost twice what going rate was.

Took Elaine today to see it in The Villages......$15.00 + $5.00 for popcorn.

There's a theater in Gardner Mass where I saw the Hobbit. $5.50 every day for the matinee and a special $4.00 matinees on Tuesdays :worthy:

I just watched "Boyhood" last night on Blu-Ray. It's boring as hell. Two thumbs down. No stars. :confused:

The only theaters I will go to are the "dinner" type, like Star Cinema Grill... nothing like watching a movie while a waitress delivers ice cold draft Dos Equis to my chair!! Now that is a movie-watching experience! LOL!
