I had the pleasure of a visit with Ed Donnelly last Friday night. He was on his annual pilgrimage out of the frozen tundra to the Sunshine State of Florida. We went to his favorite restaurant in Pensacola, McGuires Irish Pub ( http://www.mcguiresirishpub.com/) and he got his favorite steak8133681337, the 16oz USDA Prime New York Strip. After dinner we came back to my house as talked until we couldn't stay awake. He left Saturday morning for Montgomery, Alabama, to pick up the new addition to his family. A Whippet puppy, my Devo's half sister that looks just like him....Ed named her "Donzi"...go figure!

It was great to spend time with you Ed!

I had little to say in the naming.
Shannon said she is so sweet and 16 weeks old. Sweet 16 HMMMM What else would she name her?
Since I traded the Criterian SS for my new to me 16 it just seemed natural.
Always good times visiting Barry and his lovely wife.
Missed not seeing Chico this time as he is in big dog heaven. All Chihuahuas think they are big..Ed

Ed-

I hope your doctor doesn't see the size of that steak.

Although you could always tell him it was for the dog.

I'm still waiting for Ed to make his way out west. I have a boat that needs his attention.

Ed....our temps aren't that far off of Florida's right now............and they allow dogs in our building....

George is 1,200 miles away
You are 3,000 miles away
He has grits you have nothing in food that I can't get here out east.
I use to drive nonstop Toronto to Vernon when I was young and stupid
Now 1200 miles nearly kills me...Ed

Hey Ed, I'll drive!

There you go Ed. You can sleep all the way out if you want. :biggrin.:
....and you won't find anyone in Toronto that can cook Indian food like my wife.
