Here are some pictures of the restoration. The first few are after it was soda balsted. The others are with all the structure done and in polyester. The trailer is done and painted. Boat will be the same color as trailer with white interior, deck stripe and boot stripe. The pictures do not do the color justice...It looks amazing out in the sun and in person.

Thank you! Yes wheels are really nice being painted the same color. I will be adding some stainless trim rings also. The one inch white wall will really make the boat Pop when the 1 inch white boot stripe is painted on. Should be another one of a kind DONZI.

Scott,

Haven't been on the site in a very long time. Work won't let me view it. LOL I've always admired every project you have done over the years. Always 1st class and done correctly! What do they call the color on the trailer? Looks reddish pink? Gotta love the moonies on the rims with the white walls. The last picture pretty much says it all. Great work on everything you touch! Can't wait to see the finished 14. Stock power and drive or doing some updating there also?

Just another Scott :)

The color is called Cotten Candy. Its from our PPG Vibrance Collection in the Crystallance line. Its a very strong red pigment with the rest being all crushed glass. Once the boat is done in Cotten Candy with a white boot stripe, white deck stripe and white interior it will look amazing I think. I know alot of people were a taken back when I said I was painting the 18 orange and look how that turned out.

Just not into my boats looking like everyone elses. I still go for the original look but with a wow factor.

I have a brand new 3.0 engine and drive package from Mercruiser. Also I have ALL NOS hardware, gauges, shifter, dash etc. Everything! Its pretty amazing what can be found out there if you look hard enough and speak with the right people.

I found someone to do the interior EXACTLY like John Harmon at Bilt-Rite did it. That was a huge task in itself because the channel foam that John used is very special and hard to come by. You would never know that this was not a Bilt-Rite interior.

This 14 should put my 18 to shame!!!:kingme:

Now...if I can just get my Hornet done and the Criterion II finished.....
