We need rain

been a dry summer here in the hudson valley the lake is down about 2-3 feet went out yesterday had a bit of an issue getting her off the lift hopefully the forecast for tomorrow nets us some more water

would hate to pull the plug this early

Was yesterday's rain enough to make any difference?

We didn't get much here......

no most of it fell south and east of me it drizzled for about a half hour

We've been rain shy for about 5 to 6 years, but last year it started raining more.
This year it's rained so much my irrigation system hasn't really been on all summer.
Mind you, I'm really grateful, and my lawn looks better than it ever has.
I hope you get what you need.

Last Sunday we got her off the lift and had a little issue getting her back on but once we got out of the boat it floated right on the lift we tried yesterday after work it was gorgeous out but no luck she would not get off the lift with or without us in the boat

I am hoping that today's rain was enough to give us enough to float her off tomorrow morning

got her off the lift but at this point the lake is still to low, I was brushing the bottom around the docks so we called it a season

that and the low 30s forecast for every night this week

the flip flops go away now too

Do they lower the water level this time of year or is it that it's been so dry?

Glad you didn't have to spend the winter on the hoist!

no just been dry here, we were in CT on Sat. it poured all day but GWL only got a little rain. the heavy rains have seemed to fall south or east of us.
We had enough rain that the lake came up just about an inch just enough to get her azz end off the lift
