1997 Chevrolet C2500 5.7L Vortec, auto, runs great - $2999 FIRM8087680877808788087880879

Just so there is NO confusion for all you WANN-BE knowledgeable GM people. Please do your home work before you assume the info on this truck is wrong. Its easy enough to GOOGLE this info:

Its a 3/4 ton, the 1/2 ton trucks "BEFORE" 99 were "5" bolt rims, and the "LIGHT" 3/4 were "6", and the "HEAVY" 3/4 were "8".

Also, NOTE that the tailgate is of different color than the rest of the truck and that's why it say 1500 on the tail gate ONLY, NOT ORIGINAL TAILGATE.

I got this on trade for a motor-home I was selling, this is a 1997 3/4 ton ext. cab short box Silverado LT with the Lund accessory package, 155,000 miles, last owner had it 9 years, has had extensive maintenance performed. New trans and converter, brake controller, extra rear leaf springs added, leather interior, all windows and cruise work, no dash lights lit, exhaust is real quiet, runs very good. Was an Ohio truck all its life, no winter salt issues, I have a clear Ohio title for it.
This is a good work truck or a cheap way to pull an enclosed trailer or camping trailer for not a lot of money. Seat covers are covering small wear spots on the corners of the front seats from people sliding in and out.
Has a slide in bed liner, chrome bed caps and rails.

within the first 6 digits of the VIN will easily confirm whether it's a 1500 or 2500, specifically the 4th, 5th, 6th digits.. there is an option/build sticker inside the glove box too

Had a local guy tell me I don't know what I'm selling because its not a 2500, so that's why I added that comment. It is listed as a "LIGHT" 2500HD

only the light duty mid 90's 2500 used those specific 6 lug steel wheels, I had one, in fact I still have the wheels somewhere... it all depends on the GVW rating on the door sticker... from 2001 to 2006 there was also a 1500HD, I owned a 2004 1500HD CC like that

only the heavy duty 2500 would have the option code C6P on the glove box option sticker, I owned 3 of those vehicles, 93 Suburban, 95 truck, 99 Suburban

look on your glove box sticker for C6P, GU6, GT4, GT5, G80 options...
