Very nice looking boat. I'm sure someone will recognize it. There are more pictures, but I'm on the iPad.

It's also on EBay. They have been trying to sell it for almost a year now. Considered it before I bought my Sweet 16 which was in my backyard. Anybody know what that boat is worth? Is it a good buy at $35000?

The owner/seller says it runs 63 with a 383 stroker.
I would think thats kinda low, my Minx ran 62 with a 350 Mag.

This is member hotboat's old 20.
It has a TRS and is heavier than the Minx so the speed I think is honest.
I really don't know on the price. Personally I kinda wish it had a Bravo 1 and a new EFI engine. The speed doesn't bother me but it would be nice to truly have a modernized classic. I think that's the sticking point with it. The guy that likes the carb and TRS probably wants the boat to look original too. The guy that wants the resto rod modernized look probably wants the modern engine/drive.

You expressed my exact thoughts on it. I installed a 450hp BBC in my 1975 20' Cig years ago and it was good to around 65mph. Heavy boat with the TRS!

Yea I was thinking the same thing since mine runs 60mph (2 people) and I only have a 4.3LX with a 25P Mirage prop......I bet I'm going through a lot less gas too. There are a couple DONZI's that run on the same lakes/rivers as me and I have been told mine is dialed in nice. They both have small blocks and they are only running about 3-4 mph faster.

Keep in mind the Cig 20 is built like a tank and a lot heavier than a minx an 18 or 16 some are close to 2 tons rigged but they handle and ride like a much bigger boat
the Cig 20 is a great boat
