it's an 86 and in pretty good shape for it's age. someone painted the blue stripes with a paint brush, and so I am fixing that now. they also painted the entire perimeter of the deck lip to fix the chips you see in the picture...and the paint was a horrible match, so I spent yesterday removing it and wet sanding. Interior is a fairly new and in perfect shape and the engine also very clean. I think it was repowered at some point, but not sure of the actual hours. Bottom paint is being blasted off tomorrow and I will follow that up with wetsand, compound and wax...

Of course it's no longer there ... I seem to recall it being a whitish C18 with windscreen and pale blue bottom paint .

yes it was at an auto body shop! It was priced fairly and in line with the amount of work needed to get it "right" again. the major items - hull/engine/interior are all in excellent shape and the hull is solid - no soft spots, no stress cracks anywhere! it was dirty and faded, but i can take care of that by dedicating some time - ok a lot of time! - to bringing back the gelcoat with wet sand and compound. the engine is very healthy and drive shifts as it should. i need to get the trim tabs working again and replace the stern light and dash panel as well. I may replace the gauges at the same time and give it a bit of an update. all in all, i nice little boat...will be new again in about a week and in time for the long 4th of july weekend...

update - bottom paint is off. time for some serious wet sanding...

Im in Southold and boat on the Peconics. Oddly enough, i found out i am the 3rd owner. First owner was in Massapequa and second owner kept it in Southold - not far from my house...

I plan to use this for a bit while i work on my longer term Minx project.
