There are so many up for sale I decided to start there own thread. Team Warlock started it all with there 24 Euro and later a 25. Then, Ultimate Warlock built the 25, 28, and a 29 Euro. Then Warlock built a 32.

Here is a 1988 Team Warlock 24 Euro. The 24's are different bottoms and have a 25 degree dead rise straight V. This particular boat has had several price drops and now the owner is asking ........ $12,900

The 24 Euro's ran from 1988 when Team Warlock designed and tooled the original molds, up to 1998 when Ultimate Warlock built the last 24 Euro's using those molds. I have never seen one later than 1998. They all are very narrow 6'8" beam, 25 degree bottom wave crushers. I don't believe there are any small hi-po boats with a 25 degree dead rise V. The rounded "look" was very progressive design for the late '80s.

Here are five examples - 1998 Ultimate Warlock Open Bow, 1998 Ultimate Warlock Closed Bow, 1990 Team Warlock (repowered - new 496HO), 1989 Team Warlock (airborne), 1989 Team Warlock (370TRS HiPo, for sale)

Here is a 1995 Ultimate 25' Euro open bow for sale. This one is interesting because it has an open bow but does not have any jumper seats in the middle, just a flat floor. Another dealer who has no idea what they are selling as they call it a MCOB. This tells me the open bow would have been a conversion done at a later date. These hulls are narrow 7' beams, with 24 degree bottoms. This one with a 7.4MPI 330hp is priced at ............ $20,000

And here are a couple of other 25' Euro's. At one point they tested a Team Warlock 25 with a 502 Magnum (415hp) and a Blackhawk drive back in late 1994 and it did 76mph on radar. I would think a 502 Magnum Bravo would just tickle 70. The 1994 for sale below for $21,500 would have been laid up by Team Warlock and Stolarz, 1995 and beyond built by Carter Reed. A lot of the 1995 boats you will see labeled as Ultimate Custom Boats or just Ultimate instead of Ultimate Warlock. After resolving a legal dispute, in 1996 Carter Read used the first "Ultimate Warlock" branding and logo.

Now onward to the 28 Euro.

Here is a really clean 1996 that is for sale in Texas. I have only seen two of these 28's ever for sale. This one is a legit Ultimate Warlock and for a '96 has a very current color scheme. On the block for ..... $22,500

The 28 Euros are still straight 24 degree V's like the 25 Euro. No steps and no pad on the keel. Normally any of the Euro's will carry 12" of length for the integrated swim platforms.

The transom treatment is a deal-breaker for me on these Euros. Looks like someone backed the boat into the ugly tree at 20mph and it left an impression.

I'd rather have a flat transom and a full-width tubular aluminum swim platform on a regular Warlock.

I'm not a big fan either but with a family they make things easy and are way more comfortable than tubular. Ironically they also help with a following sea as well

Greg, what did you mean by this? Are they different than the other Warlock styles, or different compared to the other Euros? Did any Euro ever get a stepped hull or pad?

Next in line is the 29' Euro. Here's a 1996 Ultimate Warlock 29 for sale that they're calling a 27. A narrow beam 27 was never made. Dealers, you gotta love 'em. Wrong HIN too. For sale with big power for ..... $28,000

There's no accounting for taste!

I'll have to assume it's because you have to huddle under a stack of beaver pelts to keep warm for 9 months out of the year and/or you don't eat grits.

Greg, what did you mean by this? Are they different than the other Warlock styles, or different compared to the other Euros? Did any Euro ever get a stepped hull or pad?

Well yeller, there are a few permutations here......... :biggrin.:

The first "Euro" was designed by Tom Stolarz, successful racer and founder of Team Warlock based in Corona, Southern Cal. He designed and then built the legendary "23 Offshore" initially in very early 1987, then in 1988 introduced the "24 Euro" model. He had been messing around with various designs from 1985 according to Jim Allen who I ran down a year or so ago. The 23 and 24 were both a part of the companies World Class model line-up of super narrow beam V hulls from Team Warlock but the 24 Euro's (contrary to many opinions) have a somewhat different bottom than the 23 Offshore, including a 25 degree dead rise. The Stolarz built 24 Euro's ended in 1995 although the molds survived and the same model was built on occasion by a different company through 1998 as requested. The word is that (8) 24 Euro's were built in 1998 with the absolute last one out of the mold actually being a full walk through open bow model with a Merc Blue 500 bulldog race motor. No steps, no pad, 25 degree V, narrow beam from 1989 through 1998. The brochure below says the beam is 7 foot, but that is not true, it is 6'8" at the widest point, but who's counting.

Sometime during his ownership period, Tom Stolarz must have decided to tool a 25' Euro and Dan Kirby, glass legend in SoCal (also ran a 200mph Corvette) who had joined Tom to run the Team Warlock glass shop operation, laid up a few 1994 hulls which had under bow facing jumper seats and a true 7' beam.

Then, at some point in 1995 Carter Read worked out a what I believe was a somewhat messy deal to buy Team Warlock from Stolarz. Stolarz evidently was getting more into his WPM steering systems business. Carter Read took Tom's 1994 25 Euro design and molds and built a few Ultimate 25 Euro's in 1995 only. Interestingly when you run across an Ultimate, they carry a HIN of UTC. In 1996 the name was legally changed to Ultimate Warlock and the bottom on the 25 Euro was tweaked including dropping the dead rise to 24 degrees and gaining a more useful under bow small bed as Carter Read raised the deck a little bit while maintaining the narrow beam and overall Euro look. Still no steps, no pad and a 7' beam on these Ultimate Warlock 25 Euro's from 1996 on.

Early 1996, Read introduces the Ultimate Warlock 28 Euro (29' LOA) of which I have only seen two, same bottom as the 25 in all respects, just more running surface. Then, in late 1996 the 29 Euro which is 30' LOA. Both these boats - no step, no pad, narrow 7' beam, 24 degree V. My opinion only is that both the 28 Euro and 29 Euro were probably based on the Team Warlock 28 Offshore hull which is also a narrow beam 24 degree. Probably an identical bottom with the completely different Euro deck and transom steps. The 28 Euro that's for sale above is very rare and has a B3 drive but the puny BBC engine which is too bad. That thing is a great value at $20k if it at least had a 454Mag with the B3. Instead it has the 310hp carb 454 and tops out at 53mph :garfield:

Not until the Warlock 32 Euro was introduced yeller (the model was kind of an oddball) did they switch to use the step and pad bottom design specifically for a Euro. The 32 Euro is a very different boat though including a wide beam.

Now the -flat deck square transom- Ultimate Warlock's (renamed simply as "World Class" models by Read) started using the step and pad bottom design in late 1996. The first boat was the 29 built to race APBA. From there the 27 in 1998 and then the 25 in 2000. All of these kicked butt on the race circuit. The 25 foot World Class' bottom was tweaked a bit by Reed based on all the race success the 29 and 27 had and with its serpentine step, pad bottom 25 degree V it has clocked 78mph on radar with a 496HO and stock Bravo drive without low water pickup. Fast, efficient boats. Unfortunately, these Carter Read "World Class" models in 25, 27, and 29 were never offered as a Euro.

Sorry for the soap box, but in for a penny in for a pound. Both Tom Stolarz and Carter Read are still living in Southern Cal today.

Greg Guimond

As I mentioned, the 32 Euro's used a completely different bottom than the race proven 29 and 27 World Class narrow beam hulls. The 32's have two steps not one, and the pad is completely different.

Here is a 2006 Warlock 32 Euro with twin 496HO's for sale .............. $100,000

IMO the best overall choice in the Euro series is the 25 built by Carter Read and Ultimate Warlock starting in 1995. Actually, 1996 and later would be better as the HIN matches the Ultimate Warlock brand label and holds its value better. The extra length gives the hull great symmetry, the UTC's have a little faster 24 degree bottom, and with a slightly higher deck it makes the bed and jumper seats under the bow more family useful. :shades:

These specific boats are hard to find though and really tough to find with subdued gel coat colors. I actually think the boat would look great in all white like the 25 Euro pictured below. The transom steps just fade away with low key graphics. An understated, family friendly, 7' beam wave crusher that'll do 70 with a 454Mag.

But I will say that this 1988 24 Euro with simple colors is a close second to the 25 above. Someone needs to buy this for $10k and drag it North. It even has the hood scoop already in place for a blower to be added.

This 1989 Team Warlock 24 Euro was for sale last year and just came back on the market again today in Pennsylvania. It has the 1989 Bravo with the smaller, faster bullet on the gearcase but it looks like the motor is the older 370hp motor from 1987. Not that I have any idea what a 370 Merc motor actually is. These Euro 24s are 24'5" tip of the bow to edge of the swim steps.

Was first priced at $16,900 back in July of 2013. For sale now at ........ $14,900 :blub:

Well it looks like the sharp yellow 1991 Euro 25 just re-surfaced and is for sale again. Also looks like the current owner doesn't know he actually has a 25 footer. Yellow for yeller
.

Just when I thought I was the Cliff Clavin of Warlock's someone throws me a curve ball. This is a 1991 Marlin 24 Euro. What.....Marlin? The ad isn't accurate as Team Warlock was building Euro 24 models in 1989. I will say this Marlin is interesting because they engineered a set of jumper seats and a bed under the bow. How'd they do that? It also has side windows, a substantial windscreen + a deck hatch. Have never seen a Marlin 24 Euro and probably never will again.

I wonder if the bottom is the same 25 degree dead rise as the Team Warlock 24 Euro's bottom. I like the colors, they look current for a 23 year old hull. Priced at $19,000

Well before Carl invented the "Carl Cabin" and George designed the "Carter Closet" for Classics, the West Coast builders were being innovative with layouts. Here is a picture of the little jumper seat area under the bow. In front of those seats is the little bed. Hard to believe they fit all that in a low profile format. Team Warlock did not choose to do this with the bow area of there hulls being more of the APBA racer types. They just have a flat playpen floor.

1991 Marlin 24. Well, not really. It is actually a 25 Euro which is why it has the little cabin and jumper seats. Started at $19k.....down to $16k

I always thought that it would be a cool project to do a custom flush front glass cover for these Euro 24's.
Do it infused and vacuum bagged, super strong and very light and you can turn it into a closed bow when you want to. Or maybe "Critter it" with a partial front fiberglass removable cover?

Will consider selling the Euro with the bravo 1x drive, bblades bravo1 26p prop, custom made stainless s-pipes for the exhaust and all of the autometer gauges (minus the gps receiver/puck for the speedo) for $6k.

So now, instead of giving the seller $5,000 you can give him $6,000 and for the extra grand you get a complete Bravo drive as well as a $500 prop. I'm not sure what a Bravo One "X" drive is worth used but this hull with that 620hp Duramax marine diesel that's for sale installed would make for an interesting 80mph+ package.

Yes, it does Bill, a nice steel float on trailer. If the gelcoat is in nice shape and it comes with a full canvas cover it is a great bargain. As a compare, there is a 1989 24 Euro on the East Coast in excellent shape and he wants $13,000. The only problem is it has the older 370 TRS motor in it. :screwy:

One month later and another price drop for this original gelcoat 1996 Ultimate Warlock 29' Euro. They might want to correctly represent it as a 29. Actually three price drops. $28,000 ...... $22,800 ..... $19,000

How low can it go? Fourth price drop for the 1996 Euro 29. Now the dealer is asking $16,500 ..... :blub: Show up with $10k cash and a smile

Edit: Re-listed by the new owner on 6/8/16 for $40,000

I have a 96 28 ft Warlock for sale. I have only had it about a year. I have put a new motor, new drive, and a stereo in the boat. I am only selling it because 90mph is not fast enough to hang with my group of friends. It rides great in rough water and seats 5 to 6 comfortably up top, with two seats and a bed big enough for three under the bow. The paint has a clear coat on it that is faded in some areas but the boat looks great from 15 feet or so.

The motor.. It is a new 548ci Dart block, dart pro 1 ported heads. 8-71 blower and quick fuel 950 carbs. Larry Peto form Larrys enigine and marine in Tucson built the motor. It made 901 - 874 on 7.4lb of boost, and 941 - 911 on 8.6lb of boost.

The drive is an Imco sc and a -2 sportsmaster with a 1 in spacer running a 30 or 32 p 4 blade depending on temp and altitude.

Extras.
Dual hydraulic steering.
Underwater light.
Stereo with 2 Kicker L7 subs, 6 speakers, flip up 7 in DVD player.

The gears in the lower just broke, so every part from the back of the motor to the prop is brand new. All gears, bearings, yoke, shafts, seals, everything!! Also assembled by Larrys engine.

I have more money in the motor and drive than i care to think about. For $40k you are getting a free boat.

I had never seen more than one 32 footer in the Euro line which was the 2006 with twins above. Now, here is a second one that just popped up. This one is a 2007 with the Mid Cabin Open Bow layout that is favored by the Left Coast folks. What a minute.......Volvo power? Now that's a first. Offered at $64,700

This Team Warlock Euro has re-surfaced in the Carolina's. Now owned by a great guy who has sorted out some issues and has her ship shape.

Thanks Glen. You know I've been looking for a bigger boat for a while. It seems that there are not a lot of nice 22C's at this time of year for reasonable money. I do like the Warlock's too. Chris (Fitch Powerboat Service) has a Warlock 24 and I've run with him a few times. It seems like a really nice running and handling boat and handles the bumps a lot better than my 18. I like the styling of the 22C better so I need to think about this for a couple of days to decide if I want to go in that direction instead. Whatever I end up with I'll be keeping for a while (read: a long time) so I want to make sure that it's something that I'll be happy with. And if I do, then I have to figure out what to do with all of those Donzi shirts and hats!

The Warlock Euro was on my short list when I was looking. I'm guessing it would be a much better handling boat than the 22. The only thing I don't really care for is the blockish style dash, but that's common to a lot of boats.

That would be the same BH for sale in Odessa, TX, in TN, FL and just about every other state. :bonk: It's been flagged just about everywhere, but I'll give them credit as they keep trying.

The Warlock looks really nice but it also looks like it's about an hour outside of Seattle. I'm not sure if I could get someone to do a reasonably priced survey that far out.

Chip, your friend Chris I believe actually has a Team Warlock 23 Offshore that somehow has a Chris Craft HIN. It has the 330hp package in it and does 63mph with it. The 24 Euro is a slightly changed bottom with the 25 degree hull instead of the Offshores 24 deadrise so I'd suspect the Euro will have a top speed of 60-61. Call Seattle and tell him you will meet him in Oklahoma. Nice time of year for going walkabout.

I'd be willing to bet you could easily get it for $14k (or even better?). He's dropped the price to $16.5, but is still advertising "motivated seller".
Even at listed price, it's still a good deal.
