Bill now you'll be able to concentrate all your efforts on the 38 TG once the 36 gets sold..............Any moisture issues with the transom or stringers?.....how about the fuel tanks?.......trailer good for a lenghty journey?.................Good luck with the sale!

Thanks Pete. The transom and stringers seem fine except for some moisture on the starboard transom where the trim tab mounts, but the transom has not flexed there. The dual fuel lines run off the center main tank with no leaks. There are two auxillary side tanks on each side of the cockpit which are not presently being used along with two tanks on each side of the cabin not being used. The trailer is not much to look at, but it should make a trip anywhere. A couple guys want it but one can not get the financing and the other can't buy it until the end of April. Someone will hopefully buy it soon to free up some space for me. The TG motors should be ready any day now. Onwards. Bill

Bill do you think those 540's have good enough internals to support supercharging them?

Pete,
Aren't you supposed to start with lower compression pistons when adding a blower? The crank in one is Callies with Carillo forged rods - the other is King crank with forged H beam rods. Wiseco of JE aluminum pistons in both. Both blocks are 10.2" deck blocks and the heads are Merlin 345 iron heads on both. 12 qt. offshore pans on both. I got a serious caller today.

I wouldn't know that's why I asked http://www.donzi.net/ubb/icons/icon11.gif ..............I hope it's serious because I entertained getting a quote on transport to Jersey

Pete, you don't want to end up with too many projects like me :rlol:. On the other hand, idle hands can get us in trouble -. Take care.

Pete,
I just saw your question after spending time with my sister from out of town. I will make the measurement tomorrow when I get out to my business, but I was thinking 8' 7" off the top of my head.

Pete,
I measured 9' 4" beam just forward of the windshield which I believe is the widest.

Bill..........Thanks for taking the time to measure!..... I know all this (hinting) points towards an interst in your 36'
I love your 36' cig - wished I lived in the next town over from ya........as I'm finding out, towing is a "real big nut"
from there to here!

That's easy to solve. Each of you drive and meet at the halfway point. One long day round trip for each and free except for fuel cost.

Pete,
I got a call today from a guy in Augusta Georgia who has wanted it for at least 2 months, but he had to wait until May 1st before pulling the trigger. If he doesn't buy it, you can have a shot and then I will be parting it out if no one jumps on it soon. I plan on firing the engines in the lake tomorrow and letting them run for a while and recording a video for anyone interested.

The engines ran perfect this afternoon after 3 years. Here is a video I made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8d3pDeYbPw&feature=youtu.be
