Is there anyone making a windshield for the Minx or does anyone have one that they want to part with?

The answer is "NO" and "Probably Not".
I've seen one "duplicate" and it barely fit and did not have the "eyebrows" that make the Minx windshield so effective. I understand there are companies that if they have a good example to work from, a good copy could be made.
My boat was missing the windshield when I bought it. I investigated every path I could find.
Finally someone posted a link to a North West region boat site with a story about an apparently drunk guy who was running fast after dark and piled the boat on a rocky shore. The owner was ejected over the windshield and crushed his pelvis and both legs.
It took about 3 months for the owner to get out of the hospital, the police to decide not to arrest the owner, and the insurance company to decide to give the title to the recovery company. After six months, I finally received the windshield, the hatch and some hardware.
I doubt if there are very many available like that.

http://www.besenzoni.it/contact-us-maritime-services:checkered: You might be able to get the later model windshield through Besenzoni. Worth a shot:D

You might also check in with Desman Glass. Ron is one of the best in the country and although he is not directly connected to the Minx he does have an 18 Classic deck in storage so maybe he has some leads for you on the Minx front. Good luck.

UPD plastics might make one. Another thought is whoever was making the 28zx and 35zr wind screens. they are similar in design at least with the flip up.

UPD was more than willing to do the plexi on the Italian style screen but you would need the frame. The plexi one will be easier to reproduce. I know you will need good measurements. UPD wants templates if possible.
