Yeah, the company split over a beef about what to call it (Calamarine or Octopusher). Much like the Bro/Manssiere thing. :)

All I can really envision is the lower housing of some early, small-HP outboard or i/o, and that's a stretch even. Stuff seems backwards...Ed?

Interesting. This was used in an old Donzi Sportman 28 foot Bubble deck race boat that had twin engines and this thing as the drive or rudder assembly...or whatever you want to call it.

I can see no way to run a drive shaft so.....

raw water pickup/trim tab/rudder for a v-drive or inboard ?

I can see how it would work with twins. Maybe run 2, one behind each prop.

The prop shaft is set up like a single V-drive with this thing on the back like a rudder.
