in the smaller boat chase scene in "Moonraker" ( not the one with the glastron carlson turning into a hang glider) what was the boat the bad guys used to chase Bond thru Venice?

looks very donzi-bertramesque looks like it could be Walt inspired anyone know? L shaped seating looks a lot like the windshield used on the early classics

It's probably some obscure (to us) Euro built brand that someone on the other side of the pond would know about.

I always thought it very strongly resembled a Monza 19 though .

At 3,28 you can almost make out something on the port side near the transom that appears to be a brand label . Later on , or in earlier scenes , it appears to be large number though.

I always loved that chase scene. Roger Moore must have had a blast doing those movies.

At 3:14 it looks like that boat has a wooden transom...

Aye on that too .

When I think about the possibility of it being a Coronet as Jim suggested and the similarities it has to a Formula Jr and the Donzi 16 I'm wondering if it is one of those Swedish/Danish boats (can't remember the brand and haven't done a search) that Jim Wynne used to cross the Atlantic in using his then newly invented I/O .

Maybe he cut a deal whereby he did a few free designs for them in return for giving him a boat ?

(One of Morgan's 'cloudy' conspiracy theories .. :D)

the boat does have some wood trim around the windshield

this is what I found on "Coronet" (http://freespace.virgin.net/simon.sherlock/range.htm)
